Reisser Wood Construction Screws
Reisser is a long‑established German manufacturer specialising in high‑quality wood construction screws. Reisser screws are engineered for structural timber applications where consistency, reliability and precision matter.
The Reisser HBS range is designed for reliable performance for modern timber construction projects. Available in both countersunk and wafer head, these screws are ETA covered and come with a C4 corrosion-protection coating.

Structural Timber Screws With The Technical Backing
REISSER HBS is an ETA-covered timber construction screw platform, now paired with C4 corrosion protection for demanding exterior conditions. The launch range includes countersunk head and wafer head screws in selected 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm lines.
Within the ETA framework, these screws are intended for connections in load-bearing timber structures between wood-based members, or between wood-based members and steel members. The ETA also covers fixing thermal insulation material on top of rafters or on wood-based members in vertical façades for screws with outer thread diameter d ≥ 6 mm.
Head style selection:
- Countersunk Head – suited where a flush finish is preferred in timber construction, roofing, and rafter insulation work. Documented features include milling ribs, coarse thread, cutting point, and TX drive.
- Wafer Head – suited where broader bearing surface and strong clamping are useful, such as timber buildings, panel construction, carports, and on-roof insulation work.

LT-Protect Coating
- LT‑Protect C4 duplex corrosion‑protection coating
- Designed for demanding exterior conditions
- Based on C4 atmospheric corrosivity classification (ISO 9223)
- Provides enhanced protection where increased corrosion resistance is required

Coarse Thread
-
Large pitch coarse thread design
-
Supports faster screw driving and efficient installation
-
Designed to deliver high load-bearing performance in timber connections
-
Helps reduce screw-in resistance for smoother driving

ETA Approved
- Technical Assessment (ETA‑11/0106)
- Provides an assessed technical basis for structural timber connections
- Supports recognised design and load calculations used in timber construction applications

Cutting Point
- Integrated cutting point at the screw tip
- Assists with clean, immediate screw starts
- Helps minimise timber splitting
- Supports smoother installation in solid and laminated timber
Shop Countersunk Head Screw
Designed for applications requiring a flush finish. Milling ribs help the head seat cleanly into timber, while the coarse thread and cutting point support efficient installation in structural wood construction.
Field of Application:
- Wood Construction
- Roofing
- Rafter Insulation

Shop Wafer Head Screw
Designed with a large bearing surface to provide a strong hold-down and high contact pressure. The wafer head supports secure clamping where increased head support is required in timber construction.
Field of Application:
- Timber Framing
- Panel Construction
-
On‑roof Insulation
