Store Person/Counter

Store Person/Counter Role – Dunedin

Blacks Fasteners is one of New Zealand's most progressive companies supplying leading-edge products and services to the engineering, manufacturing, building and construction industries as well as the general public.  We are currently looking for a Store person/Counter to join our team in South Dunedin.

 You will need:

  • Previous experience with selection, packing, inwards and dispatch of orders accurately and within tight deadlines
  • A current forklift license 
  • Understanding of inventory and stock management
  • A sense of organisation and pride in maintaining a tidy store
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • A Positive “can do” attitude

To be successful in this role, you will also have:

  • The ability to self-manage and balance the day-to-day priorities effectively 
  • A commitment to excellence in Customer service  
  • An excellent level of physical fitness

Applicants must be well-presented and have a friendly and polite manner. Experience in the fasteners/service industry would be an advantage although not essential.

Store Person/Counter

Store Person/Counter Role – Christchurch

Blacks Fasteners is one of New Zealand's most progressive companies supplying leading-edge products and services to the engineering, manufacturing, building and construction industries as well as the general public.  We are currently looking for an additional Store/Counter person to join our busy team in Christchurch (Sockburn).

You will need:

  • Previous experience with selection, packing and dispatch of orders accurately and within tight deadlines
  • Outstanding customer services and communication skills 
  • Problem solving skills
  • Understanding of inventory and stock management
  • A sense of organisation and pride in maintaining a tidy store
  • Juggling priorities without dropping the ball 
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • An excellent Health and Safety record

To be successful in this role, you will also have:

  • The ability to self-manage and balance the day-to-day priorities effectively 
  • A commitment to excellence in Customer service  
  • An excellent level of physical fitness
  • A positive attitude 
  • Mechanical mind
