Tropical Cyclone Gita ripped a path across the South Pacific in February 2018 causing severe damage throughout Tonga where it was labelled the worst storm to hit the country in 60 years.

In the wake of its devastating 278kph winds, many parts of the island kingdom were left completely levelled with houses flattened and churches badly damaged.

Blacks Fasteners have been proud to supply building materials and tools to the people involved in the clean-up effort to help rebuild homes and facilities.
