Blacks Fasteners Rewards Programme Terms and Conditions.

1.0 Participation in the Programme
Blacks Fasteners selected customers are eligible to participate in the Blacks Fasteners Reward Programme. Any Customers who belong to a bulk buying group are ineligible for Blacks Fasteners Rewards.
2.0 Allocation of Points
Reward points will be allocated each month based on your purchases from Blacks Fasteners. Points are allocated in arrears as there is a requirement that the invoice is paid before points are allocated for that transaction. There is a direct relationship between purchase volume and number of points allocated which means the more you purchase the greater the points you can earn. There is no cap on points allocation.
- Points are only allocated once invoice has been paid. Invoice must be paid by 25th of month following date of invoice to be eligible. Payment must be made by direct credit, cash, or cheque. If payment is made by cheque it must be posted to the Accounts Department at head office, PO Box 7229, Sydenham, Christchurch 8240, and timed to arrive on or before the 25th of month following.
- Account payments made by credit card are not eligible for points accrual.
- Customers must receive their invoices either with their goods or by email.
- If customers are not paying the account balance in full or are paying part payments they must contact the Accounts Department before the 25th to advise which invoices are being paid.
- One NZ dollar = 1 reward point.
Any dispute over point allocations should be directed to Blacks Fasteners in the first instance.
3.0 Points Expiry
Points earned through the programme expire 24 months from the date of allocation. Points that are not used before the expiry date will be forfeit.
4.0 Redemption
The redemption service is provided by a reward fulfillment company. Points accrued may be redeemed by choosing a reward currently available and published on the Blacks Rewards Programme website using the shopping cart facility on the website. All rewards are subject to availability, the terms and conditions published on the Blacks Fasteners Reward Programme website and other terms and conditions relating to the reward as determined by the reward supplier including any ticket for airline travel. The reward recipient is responsible to satisfy any terms and conditions proposed by an airline or other reward suppliers including advance booking requirements and any restrictions and/or fees payable for the cancellation or alteration of tickets.
5.0 Term of the Programme
The Blacks Rewards Programme is an ongoing programme with no fixed date of termination. Should Blacks Fasteners decide to end the programme, you will be given three months in which to redeem your points for rewards.
6.0 General
Points earned in the Blacks Rewards Programme have no cash or monetary value and are non-transferable. At its sole discretion Blacks Fasteners reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice. Current Terms and Conditions are available to view at www.blacksfasteners.co.nz Blacks Fasteners also reserves the right to change the rewards offered, the transactions that qualify for points allocation and the number of points awarded in respect of such transactions. Blacks Fasteners reserve the right to suspend or terminate the programme without prior notice.
Blacks Fasteners, their agents and sub-contractors are not liable for:
- Any loss, theft or damage to any reward in the course of delivery.
- Any reward not being available for any reason.
- Any failure to notify participants of any changes in these terms and conditions, the rewards available, qualifying transactions and or the number of points awarded for qualifying transactions.
- The suspension and/or termination of the Blacks Rewards Programme.
- Any tax liability arising from participation in the programme.
- Any action, claim, damage or loss whatsoever, direct or indirect suffered by a participant resulting from participation in the Blacks Rewards Programme.
- Any representation or warranty as to quality, suitability or merchandisability made by any supplier or manufacturer of any reward.
- Any reward not being available for any reason.
Participants in the programme acknowledge that the Blacks Rewards Programme is conducted by a reward fulfillment company for Blacks Fasteners and that no privity of contract exists between the participant and the reward fulfillment company and that the reward fulfillment company is not responsible or liable to the participant in any way whatsoever.
7.0 Privacy
The reward fulfillment company collects personal information from participants in the Blacks Rewards programme in the course of operating the programme, in order to send participants points statements, information regarding operation of the programme, information about special offers, or rewards and to fulfill reward orders. Information on reward redemption is shared with Blacks Fasteners. No other party has or will have access to your personal information. From time to time Blacks Fasteners and the reward fulfillment company may be in contact with participants of the Blacks Rewards Programme through email, facsimile, SMS text message or post.
