Sizzling Opening for Blenheim Branch July, 2010
Blacks Fasteners Blenheim branch held a morning barbeque recently, celebrating the opening of the new store and highlighting our product range to customers. It was a great success with around eighty customers enjoying the early morning hospitality. Joining our Blenheim branch staff for the event from other regions were Andy Lloyd, Jason Terrell, Nick Sands and Craig Stove. |

Annaliisa Leads the Way in Cycling Success July, 2010
When Blacks Fasteners Sydenham Storeperson Annaliisa Farrell won a Bronze medal at the Beijing Paralympics as a Pilot Rider for a blind cyclist, it was just one highlight in a successful competitive road and track cycling career spanning 16 years.

New Store Opening in Blenheim
March, 2010
Blacks Fasteners is excited to be opening a new store location in Blenheim, to service an increasingly expanding market in the Marlborough region. The new store is expected to open in early March at 35 Main Street Blenheim and will be managed by Mark Staite, who will be relocating from his current position of Store Supervisor at our Nelson Branch.

Shells on Wrong Trajectory
November 21, 2009
Staff at a Christchurch hardware manufacturing company were shocked to find three boxes of military-style ammunition cartridges among a pallet delivered to the warehouse yesterday. Roger Black, of Blacks Fasteners, found three wooden cartons containing blank rounds for a 105mm howitzer wrapped up with a shipment of Blacks' supplies.

Storeman Competes in Molesworth Muster
November 7, 2009
Gasson Street Branch Storeman Sean Holmes will be proudly carrying the Blacks Fasteners flag as he competes in this year's gruelling "Molesworth Muster" - an 80km Mountain Bike High Country Adventure race, on November 7th. The classic race attracts riders from around the world - to ride an original high country track used for over 100yrs to muster cattle from the historic Molesworth Station to Hanmer Springs.
