First South Island Robin translocated to Bluff Hill
March 1, 2017
Blacks Fasteners is proud to announce the first release of a South Island Robin as part of our Conservation Support programme for the Bluff Hill/Motupohue Environment Trust. Today, Vicky Westwood from Blacks Fasteners Invercargill branch released the first South Island Robin to be translocated to Bluff Hill representing the first of its kind to return to Bluff Hill due to extensive pest control work.
The Bluff Hill/Motupohue Environment Trust thanks all volunteers, past and present, who have worked tirelessly to control the pest animals in order to bring back the bird song and restore the flora and fauna on Bluff Hill.
